Well, well, well Klout finally bites the dust. Business Insider today announced that it will shut shop on the 25th May. Yet another Social Media company bought for a lot of money and then eventually shut down.
It did raise four rounds of venture funding from top-tier firms totalling $40 million then sold in 2014 for $200 million to Lithium Technologies. Lithium is a private company that makes digital marketing tools.
