I talk about the self-generated demise of society in the book ... and while nobody is buying it (why would they) I am pleased to see that there is an ever growing incredulity surrounding a total lack of empathy and the subject of Social Media (because that is what this latest news story is all about).
Today, there was yet another news item from the BBC about an incident that took place in Italy. A man took a selfie, which included the 'Corna' hand gesture, of a severe accident at a railway station, as the medics fought to save the injured person (who later had a leg amputated).
The rather disturbing scene (almost staged appearance photo) is particularly telling and shows that there is definitely a lack of moral compass in the mans brain.
There is so much more that I have uncovered in my Social Media Psychobabble book that this is just the tip of the iceberg and leans to the dark-side of Social Media.
